This year began on a positive note with everyone looking forward to some or the other great thing. But who knew that this would be the year when mother nature returns to us all the hardships we've caused her.
From storms to earthquakes, there are frequent natural disasters happening all over the world but the ultimate threat here is the Coronavirus which is taking away the lives of millions of people all together.
The spread of this virus began in last days of January. No one really bothered to pay attention to it until it killed thousands of people in China and Italy. All countries started taking preventive measures, the best one being social distancing. Schools, malls, offices, everything is shut, due to which thousands of people are rendered jobless. The virus has surely affected everyone, but it has affected the poor classes of the society to a great extent.
The poor people are loosing their lives just because they cannot afford the sanitization. They don't have the money to pay their rent or to buy their family food. This poor class includes the farmers, whose crops are suffering due to the climatic changes.
In these hard times, when people are still busy at looking out for themselves and their loved ones, but there are some heroes like the doctors, the nurses, the food suppliers and all other essential workers who are working so hard to keep the race of humans running. If they wouldn't have been working this hard on the patients by risking their lives, this could be the end of the world.
In these difficult and rough times, all what we need is patience, support, trust and Humanity. It is not wrong in looking out for yourself and your loved ones first, but if you have more than you require, help someone to get what he needs. This is the time when we can spread oneness leaving aside all kinds of discriminations. This is the time when the world has to unite for its survival.
Amidst all this, people are forgetting the ones who are losing their lives due to any other reason but covid-19. People are rendered homeless due to these natural disasters but, no one thinks about them. People are losing their lives as they can't afford the right medication at the right time.
Will this be the end of mankind? Is this how the world is going to come to an end? Can't we do anything to save the world?
Well, here is the answer, it's upto us.
If we think that it's not supposed to happen, then we don't have to let that happen. This is not supposed to be the end of the world or mankind, it's supposed to be the end of all the conflicts between the people. It's supposed to be the time when we all come together as one and save our beautiful world. Spread peace and humanity, this is the time, we take a stand against all the evils of the society by just spreading Humanity. Because, humanity is the need of the hour.
