the Sun and the Moon

The sun and the moon, both playing quite an evident role in our lives, the sun knowing what we do everyday and the moon knowing what we go through everyday. But, look at it from another perspective, the sun and the moon being the best of friends they are, say it all to one another, doesnt matter if its what we do or what we go through, connected like no other they are, no matter how many miles separate them. It's like the sun gives us space to be ourselves at the same time also showing us what we deserve, giving us those bright moments because we wept in the dark enough also because it knows that despite the darkness in ourselves, we are always waiting for the sun.

The sun and the moon must have a real deep connection, for after all these years, they still cry and spread darkness when they meet and even when there's an obstacle in between, the sun still finds a way for the moon to have even of its slightest shine. Its admirable to look at, how the sun dies every night just to let the moon live, how we can't see the both of them at the same time but when we do see them how it's the most beautiful thing we witness, look at it from another perspective, it's two things which rise and set to give a chance to the other one to shine. Their bond is something which can't be expressed in words.

It's said that "Everyone wants to be the sun to brighten up someone's life but why not be the moon to shine on someone's darkest hours" But what I believe is, everyone is a moon, and what they really need is a sun in their lives. One is just like the moon, so lonely, full of imperfections, just like the moon going through phases of emptiness just to feel full again. But at the same time, one shines the brightest in darkness just like the moon, that is only if one finds their Sun. Be the moon that you are even when you are far from full, inspire the ones around you, give them a reason to be happy even if its just a part of you that is seemingly visible.

Consider yourself as the moon and think who would you want your sun to be? The one you'll see as the sun despite of knowing their darkness because underestimating the allure of the darkness would be wrong considering even the purest hearts are drawn to it.
