Vorago - an engulfing chasm

Like sea shells flung from the ocean we are, scattered on the same unknown shores; so close yet so far apart. Fairly made selves with delicate spire and whorl, frail but a work divine with the force to withstand all storms; either embarking on wondrous journeys or waiting for the waves to take us off-shore; so similar yet so different we are. Often forgetting our purpose to be ashore, we become the ones to get crushed by the tap of a finger; forgetting that the waves but are streams full of stars, like skies at night. When all of us are lost on these vast and unpredictable lands; on a quest to find our own north star, wouldn't it be nice to just get together and share our light? To help each other find their way so that no one gives in to the tide before it's actually their time? When most of us deny it, it is true that each one of us has a little bit of the 'save the world' spirit in ourselves and the little efforts we make show that. You might try to help someone out of the dark, but sometimes, all a person might need is company saying "you are not alone", someone to accompany them in the dark until they feel like they can come out of the dark themselves. It's pretty obvious that us, alone, could never fix this whole world and save it, but we can always try and save the ones around us, even if it's just one person, it does make a difference. Try and share your light, try and save that one person, even if that one person is you.
